Falls) - Beata Chojnicka, an adult student at GA Wheable Centre for
Adult Education in London, received on Monday, March 13, 2006 the
highest honour that the Ontario Secondary School Teachers'
Federation (OSSTF) can bestow upon a student: the Marion Drysdale
Award.
Beata Chojnicka won for the adult learner category in the prose or
poetry division of this prestigious award. She was sponsored by her
teacher Ruth McCloskey.
This is the 19th consecutive year in which the Federation has
presented the Drysdale Awards. The awards, a cash prize of $300 and
framed certificates, were presented at the Annual Meeting of the
Provincial Assembly of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers'
Federation in Niagara Falls before more than 600 cheering members
and guests of OSSTF.

received on Monday, March 13, 2006 the highest honour that the

Megan Strachan won the French category in the prose or poetry
division of this prestigious award. She was sponsored by her teacher
Annette Muellejans.
