Althouse Associate Members' Page
As intermediate/senior and technological studies Teacher-Candidates, you are Associate Members of OSSTF. Once you get a job in a public secondary school, by law, you will be statutory members of OSSTF; in other words, we will be YOUR UNION. The District 11-Thames Valley OSSTF Liaisons to the Faculty of Education at the University of Western Ontario are Federation Services Officer Mary Lou Cunningham, District Vice-President Robert Steidl, and District Councillor Peter Bates. Mary Lou can be contacted at the District Office (519-659-6588). Robert is a teacher at Ingersoll District Collegiate Institute (519-485-1200). Peter is a teacher at Clarke Road Secondary School (519-452-2640).
This section of the OSSTF District 11 website is meant to raise awareness about the OSSTF among Teacher Candidates and to give you information regarding the dates when you can meet district and provincial staff.

provides information about OSSTF Certification Rating Statements which
directly determine, along with "years of experience", how much money you
will start out making when you get a job in a public secondary school.

| The "OSSTF Award" page provides information about the OSSTF award presented to one graduating Teacher Candidate at every Ontario Faculty of Education with IS and Tech programs. |
