Pictures & comments of Globe Electric 23 Watt CFLs

"Here is what happened to our Globe mini spiral 23 watt bulb. My wife says the bulb actually melted off and there were some flames involved. The bulb was installed horizontally, and luckily my wife was in the room at the time it happened. For years I've been trying to convince my wife to switch to these things, so I've been slowly installing them as the old style bulbs burn out. It looks like I'll be busy rip and replacing after work. I've included another pic so you can see the brand name." Andrew
