Used Myers, dual shaft mixer with anchor agitator fitted with wiper blades and high speed agitator, each agitator is driven by a 3 HP explosion proof motor and each have mechanical speed control, approximately 5-9 US Gallon working capacity with approximately 9 US gallon holding capacity. Mixer is designed for operation under vacuum and up to 50 psig. The mixing vessel is fitted with a jacket suitable for up to 100 psig, the jacket covers the side and the dished bottom. Another kind of planetary mixer with its own advantages. This mixer will perform better than a double planetary mixer giving much better and faster top to bottom mixing than a double planetary mixer. I will also mix a a much smaller relative partial batch. Discharge is easier with its conical shape and emptying can be accelerated by reversing the rotation of the auger to puch the product down and out the bottom outlet.

Vacuum Planetary Mixer with approximately 12 US Gallon Capacity:

This may be a good alternative to a double planetary mixer.

This can be a substitute for a double planetary mixer, this unit will handle many of the double planetary mixer applications and perform better in particular when top to bottom mixing is critical, this design can do it faster. Last used on an 800,000 cP product.

Description:

One only used Ross In-Line Ross High Shear Mixing System comprised of an in-line Ross Mixer Emulsifier, model HSM-425, driven by a 25 HP motor.  The system includes a stainless steel tank which is attached to the in-line high shear mixer. Rated for vacuum and pressure with.  The powder is added to the liquid stream and circulated through the tank and high-shear mixer in a loop and part of the stream is diverted away from the loop and into the next step of your process.  The unit can also be operated in a closed loop batch system.  This 25 HP unit has a flow through rate of 350 USGPM based on water.

Will sell in-line mixer-emulsifier or the jacketed pressure vessel by itself.

Description:

Two used Bowers vacuum/pressure rated mixer with a single shaft agitator suitable for viscous products blending and reacting. Last used to make Reverse Osmosis Membranes. The mixer has a hydraulic lift system to raise the agitator out of the removable mix tank which is mounted on casters and it has a 3" Flush Ball Valve located on the bottom and vertical baffles fixed to the wall. The tank has a capacity of 100 Imperial Gallon or 125 US Gallons. The tanks are rated for 12 PSIG to -14.7 PSIG internal pressure with a jacket rated for 50 PSIG AT 80 C. The agitator has three impellers each with 3 very wide blades suitable for moving viscous products. Contact parts are 316LSS with a 150 grit polish.
