Thank you to all District 11 members who participated in some capacity in the 2005 United Way drive. An especially big "thank you" goes to Sharon Young-Kipp who represented District 11 on the board's United Way fund-raising drive team, and to all of the United Way Reps at each of our branches. The Thames Valley District School Board set its target at $235,000 and once again not only met but exceeded that goal. The London & Middlesex United Way campaign raised $6,137,683, exceeding its 2005 target of $6 million. The United Way of Oxford campaign raised $777,740 exceeding its 2005 goal of $740,040. The Elgin-St. Thomas United Way Services campaign goal for 2004 was $998,500.
