Volume 3, Issue 3: February 25, 2005

Thank you to all District 11 members who participated in some capacity in the Tsunami Relief effort. Whether you donated money, organized a fund-raising activity, or encouraged your students to take part in  the relief effort, your participation is very much appreciated!

The Thames Valley District School Board website indicates that the total funds raised in the board as of February 10, is $297,119 and funds are still coming in. The website also has photos of the students of several of the board's schools engaged in their fund-raising activities.

The Provincial Executive of the OSSTF authorized a donation of $15,000 to the Red Cross on behalf of the membership.

Let us not take thought for our separate interests, but let us help one another.
