1. Meeting held Tuesday December 07, 2004 in the newly renovated District Office.

2. December 6, 2004 White Ribbon Events
-Discussion of very successful events in schools and workplaces for events linked to White Ribbon Campaign. Conversation centred on the "who" understood the meaning of the campaign and "how long" will the understanding last?
-White Ribbon contributions should be handed in to District Office ASAP or District Office should be notified of the amount and the recipient of a direct contribution. A receipt in the name of OSSTF District 11 should be forwarded to the District Office.
-Early results indicate a very successful 15th anniversary campaign.
-Financial contribution results will be tabulated for the next meeting.
-Successful strategies will be added to the three page list of potential activities for this annual campaign.

3. Safe Schools
There was lengthy discussion on the meaning of a "safe school", how schools might become safer and the violence prevention initiatives available in our Board. Bullying is an extremely concerning and complex issue and the committee will pursue resources and potential workshops for members.

4. April PD session
A sub-committee of Ed. Services and Human Rights will meet on Jan 5, 2004 to begin plans for topics and workshops for an April PD session for the membership.

5. Several resources were distributed and discussed and reps will share/distribute with their members.

6. Next Meeting: Feb.15, 2005 at 4:15pm at the District Office
