The Board provides in-service opportunities for new teachers (within their first few years of teaching). A light lunch is included. There is no fee unless you register and do NOT show up. A fee would then be charged.

Saturday January 15, 2005 from 9:00 - 3:00. Topics include: Individual Education Plans (IEPs) Getting to Know the System

The following in-service opportunity is specifically for any new teachers hired when the new lines were added in late September and in October as well as any semester two hires. New teachers who missed the September or January New Teacher Conferences are also welcome to register.

Saturday February 19, 2004. Topics include: Classroom management Communicating with parents Accommodations and modifications for individual student needs First Class and the Employee Portal

Teachers must register through the Employee Portal and registration is open.
