The photographs above were all taken at Heritage Day at the G.A. Wheable Centre for Adult Education. The displays were organized and set up by the adult English as a Second Language students.

Continuing Education Instructors' Bargaining Unit President described the event in the April 2 CEI newsletter as follows: 

"I must first of all congratulate the ESL instructors for a wonderful Heritage Day celebration. I had the privilege of attending some of the celebrations at Wheable, and I was absolutely overwhelmed. To see the students so enthusiastic about their own heritage was indeed a thrill for me, and I know the Instructors worked hard to pull it all together. You deserve accolades….and I promise I will be at next year’s celebrations if at all possible!"
