Volume 1, Issue 1: April 7, 2003

Well, it has been a long time in coming but, in the fine tradition of Education Matters, District 11's magazine, the Communications/Excellence in Education (CEE) Committee  proudly launches Education Matters Online. It contains many of the features that the print version had--news from the various Bargaining Units, Committees and Federation Services Officers, plus articles about and from our members and branches, and even a contest!

The CEE Committee feels that the advantages of this online version are many--it is in full colour, you will always know where it is, and it is extremely cost effective!

As each new edition is launched the previous edition will be archived at the Communications/Excellence in Education site so that it will continue to be accessible throughout the year.

We hope that you enjoy reading this debut edition of Education Matters Online and we welcome your feedback or better still, your involvement: please consider submitting an article, or some photo art, or your ideas for other features through your Branch/Workplace/Bargaining Unit CEE Committee Rep. If your Branch/Workplace/Bargaining Unit does not have a CEE rep, perhaps you would like to volunteer to BECOME the CEE rep yourself! Just let us know; we'd be happy to have you!

Let us not take thought for our separate interests, but let us help one another.
