Locker Room.

This locker room is adjacent to the men's baths. On the left wall you can see spaces for sandals, and pegs for hanging robes.  Heather, along with Rocko and Rita from our group, examines casts made from the vacancies left in the ash by the decay of those who were trapped by the eruption.  The Romans, at this time, built extensive networks of lead plumbing into the infrastructures of their cities.  They were saved from the lead, however, by the mineral deposits that soon coated the insides of the pipes.
