The Marion Drysdale Awards Contest

"The Marion Drysdale Awards honour a former senior secretary with OSSTF: Marion was a keen reader whose insatiable curiosity and joy in the printed word led her on many journeys of discovery. Marion Drysdale left an indelible mark on all those around her and OSSTF chose to remember Marion by naming the provincial student award in her honour."

"The Marion Drysdale contest is a writing and creative arts competition which is open to all public secondary school students in Ontario. The competition is meant to encourage the intellectual development of our students and an interest in society. The 1984 Provincial Assembly established the awards in honour of Marion Drysdale, a secretary at OSSTF Provincial Office for twenty-two years, for her dedicated work over so many years. The contest runs every fall with a school deadline in November.
