More than a decade in the communications field gives me the experience and judgement to handle your project professionally, along with the skills to deliver first-rate copy.

My specialties include health, business, and environmental issues, although I've tackled topics ranging from abattoirs to wedding photography.

Thanks to a certificate in magazine journalism, I know how to craft text that tells your story effectively. My contributions to the Canadian Bar Association's magazine have earned two Kenneth R. Wilson Awards for excellence in business periodical writing: silver in 2005 and gold in 2007.

A master's degree in biology gives me an appreciation for accuracy, along with the ability to handle technical and scientific material. My credentials also include memberships in the Professional Writers Association of Canada and the Editors' Association of Canada.

And because I worked in-house before going freelance, I understand the pressures and constraints you're facing. My goal as a freelancer is to make your life easier, not add to the work already on your plate. Perhaps that's why so much of my business comes from long-term clients who keep relying on my services year after year.

"Not only do you write wonderful copy for us, but you keep everything so well managed."
