Folk Night at the Registry
A KW Arts Award-winning music series at the Registry Theatre, Kitchener, Ontario.

Mark Haines & Tom Leighton have played for Folk Night twice, including our first Merrick Jarrett night. But Mark now lives in PEI and the duo very rarely gets a chance to make music together. Tom has been here a few more times, including leading two singing workshops. So glad to have them back!

Gathering Sparks is the Toronto and Guelph duo of Eve Goldberg and Jane Lewis, recognized for their songwriting, arranging, and love of great singing. Jane and Eve are especially known to lead singalongs, workshops, and choir sessions throughout southern Ontario. They’ve both been part of Folk Night before, but not together!

Our original Rise Again songbook release concert, in May 2015. Left to right - Peter Blood and Annie Patterson were joined by Ann Downey, Tony Turner, Katherine Wheatley, Eve Goldberg, James Gordon, Al Parrish, and Sam Turton, as well as some of The Old Chestnuts. Lyrics were projected. This time, we will email everyone a set of song lyrics.


Keelaghan and Lowe will be re-scheduled to FALL, 2021 or later.

Jez Lowe and James Keelaghan have seperately delighted Folk Night fans in the past. It is a great pleasure to welcome them back together!

July 27: One For The Foxes has cancelled their tour. We will plan to have them at a future date. We have re-scheduled this concert with DAVE GUNNING, date TBA. One For The Foxes tickets will be honoured for that show.

One For The Foxes is an exciting & dynamic new transatlantic trio consisting of Dave Curley (Galway, Ireland), Tadhg Ó Meachair (Dublin, Ireland) & Joanna Hyde (Denver, CO, USA), presenting a tasteful blend of original and traditional Irish, American and other folk musics from around the world.

Tickets from the original April 18 date will be honoured for October 17.
