MIKHAIL RAHEB'S WORKS
Gallery artist Mikhail Raheb has been an artist for most of his life. As far back as he can remember, he has been creating Art. His work is varied: Including drawings, sculpture
and paintings. Mikhail believes he is most eloquent when communicating through Art. Creating Art is his passion, he believes that “Art is the universal language, and colours its alphabet.”Mikhail loves nature, the female form, the spirit of communion, human passion(s) through his work.
His personal style and techniques in the use of colours is an attempt to demonstrate the range, breadth and depth of each emotion being communicated in a particular piece of work. Mikhail is a trained Geologist who chose to study Art from life itself, as he prefers to have his Art or the message in his Art emerge naturally. According to Mikhail, “Art is my destiny, it chose me, So. . . I am an Artist.” Mikhail has been very fortunate in the presentation of, and, the reception to his work. His work has been shown and collected in his native Syria, Saudi Arabia his work hangs in several Saudi palaces, France and Canada. He has been living in Canada for approximately two years, and loves Canada and Canadians. Mikhail looks forward to sharing his work with all Canadians and the entire world.
GOVERT VERBURG'S WORKS
An Artist in the spirit of becoming from an Artist's inner spirit's soul raises a cry. To that creation in to which he must reply. There fore to all those man in gray, that for centuries had a say. Also the many man of the cloth, who drowned us in to a spiritual froth. Surviving we must be left alone, for creation was not born out of stone. But by air, light and spirit will, I strive to inherit that gift that flowed, over from my maker's greatest endeavor. So therefore men of darkest gray, leave me alone and let me display, my talents for a future day. If after all is said and done I have not made you mad, please feel free to
ring the bell so I won't starve or go to hell. God forbid he will let me know.
Your Artist friend,
Godfrey Verburg
