The Teachers' Bargaining Unit Nominations Committee presented the following information in a report to the TBU Executive meeting, February 26. A Call for NOMINATIONS for the position of the TBU President, vacant in July due to the retirement of President Don Rowdon, went out to all workplaces by January 25, 2004, along with Nomination forms, posters and a description of the duties of the President.

| Nominations closed Tuesday February 10, 2004 at 4:00pm |
Two sets of on time, duly certified Nomination papers were received by the District Office, for the same person, Wendy Anes Hirschegger, an active OSSTF TBU member in good standing.
The TBU passed a motion that endorses the acclamation of Wendy Anes Hirschegger as President of the TBU, effective July 1, 2004.
