After two successful issues of Education Matters Online in 2002-2003 following the launch of the new District website, the District 11 Communications / Excellence in Education Committee is planning five issues this year, this one and one other before Christmas and three evenly spaced through the remainder of the 2003-2004.
In order for the magazine to be a success, however, we need the help of the membership. We need your news tips and ideas for articles to include in each issue. Do you have an idea for a feature report? Do you know of a member who has won an award, or who is doing something interesting that the rest of the membership might like to know about? Is your school or workplace planning an event that the rest of the membership may wish to attend? We are always looking for interesting items to share with the members of District 11 so please let us know about them.
