Medway Drama

Medway Drama is busy preparing for its spring show, William Shakespeare's romantic comedy  A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM -- with a twist.  The cast is large, and there will be singing and dancing to accompany Shakespeare's script.  Show dates are Tuesday, April 29 through Friday, May 2 at Medway High School in Arva at 7:00 p.m.  Tickets can be purchased at the door for $10 (adults) and $7 (students).

Effective Speaking

Medway's annual Effective Speaking Contest was held on March 19.  Speech topics ranged from the colour spectrum to world citizens.  Grade 12 student Reza Eshaghian placed first, while OAC student Becky Fleet was runner-up.

Birth Announcement

Congratulations to Mark Verbeem and his wife Fatima who became parents for the first time in February upon the arrival of their son Ayden.  Mark spent much of his March break changing diapers!
