From Ontario ![]() Lynn Miles is an award winning singer-songwriter, record producer, teacher, writer, public speaker. Lynn has 16 albums to her credit. She won a Juno award in 2003 for Roots Traditional Album of the year, and went on to be nominated in the same categories in 2011 and 2006. From Alberta ![]() Scott's latest - Tangle of Souls - spent two weeks at #1 on Alberta's province-wide community radio network CKUA, and earned Scott his third Canadian Folk Music Award nomination, for English Songwriter of the Year. Its second single "Say Can You See" was the second most-played song of 2020 on Folk Alliance International's folk radio charts, and took top honours for the folk category in both the 2020 UK Songwriting Competition and the 2020 Great American Song Contest. We welcome Scott back to Folk Night, accompanied by Pamela Mae on upright bass and vocals. JAY LINDEN is a fabled Cambridge based singer-songwriter, who released his 3rd recording, Ordinary Sunrise, in 2023."

From Saskatchewan and Quebec ![]() The Boston Globe has described Connie Kaldor as, "a masterful performer, wildly funny one moment, deeply personal the next". A three-time Juno Award winner, Connie is a member of the Order of Canada, a Queen's Golden Jubilee Medal recipient, holds an honorary doctorate from the University of Regina, and is the first songwriter to receive a Western Literature Association Award of Merit. Aleksi Campagne is Roots Music Canada's New Disovery of the Year. He won CFMA French Sonwriter of the Year. He sings in both English and French, blending folk songwriting with an edgy, multi-layered sound resulting from his unique combination of voice, violin, and looping-effect pedals. 3. From Ontario ![]() As a solo singer-songwriter and with the ground-breaking trio Tamarack, James has recorded 42 albums and toured relentlessly around the world. He has written for symphony orchestras, musical theatre and dance works, scored films, and for more than ten years was heard on CBC radio as a songwriter-in-residence. His iconic 'Frobisher Bay', recorded by more than 100 different acts world-wide, has become a standard in choirs everywhere. From Nova Scotia ![]() ![]() The LUCY MacNEIL TRIO features multiple fiddles, harp, guitar, bohdran, and bouzouki, yet brings Folk Night an intimate show that takes you into the heart of Cape Breton. She comes from a long tradition of Cape Breton music and dance that has been the foundation of creative pursuits over her musical career. Lucy has been performing with the Barra MacNeils for 35 years. She has toured to Europe, Scotland, England, Wales, Ireland, the United States, Barbados, and throughout Canada in person and via CBC television. She has been a special guest of Symphony Nova Scotia and Artist In Residence for Celtic Colours.
