This photograph was taken from inside an igloo, at 8:00 AM.  The outside temperature was -40 Celcius, while inside it was a toasty -17.  Before bedtime, we had the temperature up to 0 Celcius, but had to turn the stove down for fear of melting the roof down on top of us.  There were five of us, complete with full mid-winter gear.  (Click on the photo for a higher resolution view.)
