This photo was taken around noon in early February, the day of the return of the sun.  The sun was up, between two distant mountains, for about five seconds.  It was not up during this photo, necessitating the long exposure.  We are gathering ice from the iceberg shown in iceberg7.jpg and tower.jpg, found in the Iceberg Photo Gallery.
