The mouth of the river Spey, near Buckie, in Morayshire, on the North Sea.   The Spey has its sources in the highlands east of Loch Ness, passes by the foot of Cairngorm Mountain, and then through Nethybridge (where we stayed for two nights) and Grantown-on-Spey, the home of Clan Grant (Heather's family, on her Mum's side) before reaching the sea, nestled nicely between the Spey Bay and the Gramouth and Kingston Golf Courses, right beside the Scottish Dolphin Centre.
