The running and biking races took place on the same oval, about a quarter mile. The bike races had the competitors spread out at the start, presumably due to some handicapping system, with all racers striving for a common finish line. This gentleman won both his races, starting at the very back of the field. The stagger that he overcame in his second race was...staggering.
