The Woodstock Field Naturalists Club began in 1934. It continues today to acquire knowledge of Oxford County's natural history. The Club's objectives include protecting and preserving wildlife and unique natural areas. A fund has been established to provide scholarships to students pursuing a post- secondary education in some areas of Environmental Studies. The club also provides subscriptions to Owl Magazine to Woodstock area elementary schools and book prizes to biology students in our local high schools.
