The Law Library

The R. Boak Burns Law Library is named in honour of the late R. Boak Burns, Q.C. and former President of the Welland County Law Association. The library is operated by a volunteer board of directors and members of the Welland County Law Association. The library is for the sole use of the members, their staff and visiting counsel. The library is funded by the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Foundation of Ontario, the Ministry of the Attorney General and local membership support.

Hours of Operation

The library is staffed full time from Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Library Collection

The library has 4 computer work stations which allow access to the internet, Quicklaw and Microsoft Office. A wide variety of loose-leaf, texts and CPD materials round out the collection.
