Linen

Linen is the cloth or yarn made from fiber of the flax plant, the seeds of which are the source of linseed oil. Still in wide use today, linen is one of the most ancient textiles - it has been found in 3,500 year old Egyptian tombs (see Mummies), and was used throughout Bible History for clothing, bedding and burial shrouds.

The Lord (see The Logos and Rock Of Ages) instructed Moses to have linen garments made for Aaron (see also Levites) and his sons when serving in the Tabernacle:

The Tabernacle In The Wilderness had curtains of fine linen:

The body of Jesus Christ was wrapped in linen:

White linen was often used as a symbol of purity, as Prophecy states that it will again:
