Regardless of whatever one may have thought of their personal behavior or their music in general, many find the Beatles' Let It Be to be one of the most beautiful songs ever written. Beautiful, and whether they realized it or not, Biblically accurate to a substantial degree (the "Mother Mary" refers to Paul McCartney's memories of the voice of his mother Mary who died in 1955 when he was just 14). "Still a chance that they will see" is going to happen
"Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves, and raise you from your graves" (Ezekiel 37:12 RSV) "Thy dead shall live, their bodies shall rise. O dwellers in the dust, awake and sing for joy! For Thy dew is a dew of light, and on the land of the shades Thou wilt let it fall." (Isaiah 26:19 RSV) "Awake, O sleeper, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light." (Ephesians 5:14 RSV) "But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep. For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:20-22 RSV) "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat upon it; from His presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Also another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, by what they had done. And the sea gave up the dead in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead in them, and all were judged by what they had done." (Revelation 20:11-13 RSV) "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband; and I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling of God is with men. He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be with them; He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning nor crying nor pain any more, for the former things have passed away." (Revelation 21:1-4 RSV)
