Winter 1993
...Finally, we are glad to report the opening of a new branch of the Library in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada. Their secretary, John van Eyk is very keen to promote the reading of good evangelical books by both pastors and "lay" Christians.

Spring 1995
...A letter from Mr. van Eyk, who is in charge of the branch in St. Thomas, Canada, says: "I had a call last week from 'Teen Challenge' - an organisation that deals with drug and alcohol addicts in many countries. The young men are separated from a time from the world and taught the truths of God's Word. They have an 86% success rate and attribute it all to the 'Jesus factor'. I sent them some information on the Library and they are very excited about using the books for their education department, as well as for reading and studying for their approximately 100 students. They hope to borrow many books."

Spring 1996
...Mr. John van Eyk, who often writes from the work in St. Thomas, Ontario (Canada), recently informed us of the tragic death of the pastor of the Church he attends. He was hit by a falling tree. John has been asked to lead the congregation meanwhile. As he has no formal training for this work he would value prayer under this extra burden.

Winter 1996
...We reported in the last Bulletin how Mr. Van Eyk had been asked to take over the leadership of his Church in St. Thomas, Ontario, following the sudden death of his pastor - a recent letter from him reports that he is encouraged in the work and finds the books we send him a great help.

Winter 1998
...Other libraries have been going from strength to strength, such as ... St. Thomas (Canada), most of whom write regularly.
