DangerBoy's 4Runner nerf bars

II went wheeling once at night and went out and ordered more lights the next time Princess Auto had a sale. The problem was, where to mount them?? I looked around for a cheap light bar but wasnt happy with anything I saw (i.e. I'm cheap) so I decided to weld something up. What started out as a simple bar affair suddenly turned into a pre-runner-ish front guard thingie that really looks kind of cool even if I do say so myself!! I basically stick built this unit piece by piece on the truck to make it fit the way I wanted it to. As with all my projects, this one will be pulled off when I design and build a winch bumper for the front of the truck.

UPDATE!! I have just added wings out each side of the light bar to protect the front bumper... very Darth Vaderish! I have actually lifted the the front of the truck off of the ground with this guard with only minor deflection and NO MORE creased bumpers!!!
