Cyrwyn: second son of Prince Balfyr and Princess Emera, husband to Saraid, father of Devin and Lyresande. Cyrwyn was a patient, shy and sensitive young man, particularly unsuited for life as a Prince of the Realm. He cared little for the status-concious intricacies of court and counted only Kairdren Holtshelm and Ned Walden the Master Armourer as his truest friends.

After the affair of Adair's murder and the suspicion of his involvement, Cyrwyn left the stiffling confines of court almost with relief. He and Saraid settled into country life, after their adventureous reunion with Kairdren, with true contentment. The birth of his two children only added to the feeling. It would be many years later that tragedy would again find Cyrwyn and he was murdered himself by maurading Shadowwolves. It was his death that launched his son Devin's quest for vengeance.
