Honours and Awards

Ranging from pins and certificates recognising service years in Scouting to Medals and Certificates for Service beyond weekly meetings, these are the "Thank You" Scouting offers to its adult membership. While typically initiated by a Group Committee for its leaders, anyone can nominate
another individual. Naturally, there is a process to follow.

It's just great to give a name to the Honours & Awards Committee, but they cannot do much with it unless they have the details. eg. All pertinent dates re registration years, training taken and given, Group numbers, including retention and advancement, numbers of Chief Scouts etc. Council
Service, Regional, Provincial or National Service etc. Use one of the attached forms to provide as much detail as possible, then forward it to the District office. If the Committee is given these details, a member can do the write-up.

All applications for Honours & Awards must go through the London District committee.
