ABOUT RUMOR KENNELS
My
kennel is
located in the
City of Hamilton
which is located
about 1 hour
from Buffalo,
New York or
Toronto,
Ontario.
I
purchased my
first show dog
in 1971 and have
bred Champion
Irish Setters,
German
Shorthaired
Pointers and
Shetland
Sheepdogs.
It
all started with
my first Irish
Setter, Rhea’s
Autumn Brandy.
I had
always wanted an
Irish Setter as
a youngster.
A friend
said I should
show such a
lovely dog so I
did and hence
the beginning of
a very long
involvement with
purebred dogs.
I
purchased my
first sheltie in
1976.
He was
Ch. Bydand’s
Frostmaster a
Banchory
Thunderblue son,
out
of a lovely
Kismet bitch.
He was a
Herding expert
of Irish Setters
& German
Shorthaired
Pointers.
Frostie,
to his friends
was
a
wonderful little
dog.
In the
early 80’s I
decided to
downsize and am
now only owned
by Shelties.
In 1992
I decided to
complete the
necessary steps
to get my judges
license and have
been judging
since 1994.
I am
licensed for
Groups 1, 6
& 7.
I
am currently the
Director for
Western Ontario
for the Canadian
Dog Judges
Association.
I
am the Vice
President of the
Canadian
Shetland
Sheepdog
Association,
a LIFE
member of the
Canadian Kennel
Club and was a
long time member
and held most
offices in the
Elgin County
Kennel Club.
Although
our kennel is
small I strive
to produce
healthy, happy
puppies with
wonderful
temperaments.
My
guarantee is for
life.
All of
our pet puppies
are sold with a
CKC non breeding
agreement and
come with our
health &
temperament
guarantee which
includes a
strict return
policy which
negates anyone
from reselling
one of our
puppies without
our full
blessing.
A puppy
after all is a
lifetime
commitment.
I believe that our breeding
program is
second to none
when it comes to
caring to
preserve the
health,
temperament and
true essence of
this wonderful
breed.
