Workshops

Regional Support Associates organizes and conducts training workshops for people working in the field of developmental disabilities.

Our workshops are conducted by qualified and experienced professionals.

Video-conference Training Workshops

If you can't get away from the office, we are pleased to offer valuable training for staff and managers using video-conferencing technology. RSA has a broad range of workshop presentations for front-line workers, staff and managers.

RSA is now offering Safe Management Training

This program was developed for staff working in agencies providing services for adults with developmental disabilities who, on occasion, demonstrate violent behaviours. To address the unique needs and challenges posed by individuals with unsafe aggressive/violent behaviour. The training program integrates behavioural management principles, strategies, and techniques with new, improved state-of-the-art physical intervention techniques, reflecting the diverse professional skills of the designers and the unique needs of the clients.

RSA is certified by Safe Management to offer this training to agencies throughout Ontario. The cost of the 2-3 day course is $150 per person and includes registration, workbook and certification.
