A Message to the World

Hello and welcome to my web page. My name is Rénald A. Richer and I have a message to share with the world. It is a message about GOD. It is not about religion, it is non denominational and it has wide appeal with people of many religions and even those with no religion are often even more curious as they often are looking for answers. So you can read on without fear of being brainwashed into a new religion.

This is a snapshot of myself. Feel free to email me but I can't guarantee a response if I get a lot of emails. I am currently using most of my free time to work on my book and I would be interested to see how many people would be interested in buying a copy. It will be available in some form of e-book and also in a hard copy, the former will be cheaper of course.

Let me first tell you a bit about myself. The question I dislike the most is when people ask me "What do you do?". I dislike it because there is no short answer without painting a picture with a too many blank spots. After giving the long answer some people have called me a "renaissance man"....but I was born in 1961. I am an engineer by training and I work independently dealing in surplus assets, this is what pays the bills and will also fund the self publishing of my book. Yes, I am self publishing my book because the independent side of me will not hinge its publishing on the whim of another publisher. As you can see, I am pretty independent and am so in my thinking as well. This is what has allowed me to develop my ideas some of which are original which is why I feel compelled to publish them. It is probably a good thing that I studied engineering instead of philosophy or theology, they probably would have molded my mind like a mush of putty into thinking like every other philosopher or theologian who never had the original thoughts that I had. I am also an artist, an inventor and written a few good poems.

These are not the usual credentials one would expect one to have to be writing about this subject. My credentials are my mind and the thoughts that come from and/or through it. The bottom line is that what matters is what I have to say or write and not who I am and what I do or whether or not I have a Ph.D. in philosophy or theology.

The text bellow is part one of my message to the world. Part two will take the form of a book, a small book that could change your life so I entitled it "The Little Book that Could.....Change your Life". You will find its tentative cover and table of contents by clicking here.

A Message to the World
Part One

I am compelled to start writing this message to the world. First and foremost I want to address the most fundamental issue of the existence of God.
For ages, humans have asked themselves "Does God exist?" Some have found answers and others haven't. Many do not believe that God exists simply because they can not perceive him with their five senses, namely that of sight, hearing, touch, taste and smell. For many, if they cannot see, hear, touch, taste or smell God, then they do not believe or are not certain that he exists.
Both time and space cannot be perceived with the aforementioned five senses. Yet, most people will agree with certainty that both time and space exist. I know it with certainty because if I try to place two objects at the same place at the same time, they will collide and it is not physically possible. We can then draw the following conclusion with certainty. If time and space cannot be perceived with these five senses and yet still exist then following the same logic God can exist as well even if he cannot be perceived with these five senses. This argument that "God does not exist because he cannot be perceived with these five senses", is not valid, it is false.
We can perceive time and space with our metaphysical senses, with our minds. God too can be perceived with one's mind. Many have perceived God with their minds. When this perception of God is strong enough, there is no doubt in one's mind. We therefore have metaphysical proof of the existence of God.
We therefore have at least three metaphysical realities, God, space and time. We can think of it as the God-Space-Time Continuum.
I sincerely believe that this simple logical message will change the beliefs and lives of many. Please spread this message in every which way possible.
Thank you,

Rénald A. Richer
