There is a choir, a ladies' group, and a youth group.
The choir is led by our organist, Irene Stickel-Connell, with about 12 voices. This small group has attempted a variety of musical styles, and done well with all of them, from traditional to modern, and has produced a number of cantatas. They have asked if there might be a way of sharing music with other congregations. A web site is being developed for this. Watch here for further developments.
The ladies group is known as the Evangelical Lutheran Women (ELW for short). Normally meetings are held on the first Wednesday evening of the month, beginning at 7:15 p.m.
Young people and their friends are invited to a variety of activities, such as bowling, mini-golfing, video nights, and even shopping trips at Christmas, as well as Christmas carolling for our shut-in members. Ages range from about 12 to 15. The usual meeting night is the first Friday of each month.
