Basic Outline of the Power Cheer Nationals 2006 Weekend

PCA is excited to announce a Jam Packed NEW format for the 2006 Mississauga Mayhem Event!!

All SENIOR level teams compete TWICE on Saturday and Once on Sunday - Use your BEST SCORE -

PCA is firmly committed to having teams get more bang for the buck by giving your squads a 'best score carry over' to the finals.

No other competition gives YOU the Power to choose your best score and no other competition gives you the chance to improve your rankings in the preliminary.

You practice hard all year so lets SHOW YOUR STUFF with the never been done before best of 2 - day one!! ALL teams Senior division teams compete in the finals on Sunday.

All YOUTH and JUNIOR level teams compete TWICE on Saturday followed by awards.

Friday May 5 (afternoon) - There is no "practice space" available at the Hershey Centre on Friday. We will be in set-up mode all day.

There is NO COACHES MEETING. Pass Tags and Team Check in will take place at the ATHLETE ENTRANCE on Saturday. Do NOT have parents/drivers/fans enter via the side-athlete entrance.

SATURDAY May 6

Doors open @ 7:30 am

Morning Floor 1: All High School Divisions - 2 Rounds - (between 9:00am - 12:00noon)

Afternoon Floor 1: All Senior All-Star Divisions (between 1:00pm - 4:00pm)

Late Afternoon Floor 1: HS and Senior Partner Stunt Competition (Pairs, Quads and Fives Divisions) 4:00pm - 5:00pm

Afternoon Floor 2: All Junior and Youth Divisions - BOTH Rounds (between 11:00am - 5:00 pm)

Late Afternoon Floor 2: Youth and Junior Partner Stunt Competition, Quads, Fives, Power of One and Tumble Comp. 5:30-6:00 Jr

Awards for all Youth and Junior Teams (and related stunt comp groups) 6:00pm

Evening: No Competition - Enjoy a Team Night together.

SUNDAY MAY 7

Doors open @ 8:30 am

Morning: Start: SENIOR Power of ONE Competition. 9:30 am

Morning: All High School Divisions (Round 3 - 10:00 am - 12:30 am)

Afternoon: All Senior All-Star Divisions (Round 3 - 1:15 pm - 2:30 pm)

Tumbling Competition: 2:45 pm

Awards for all Senior/HS Divisions and related Stunt Comp and Individuals: 3:15 pm

Please do not call or email PCA requestion scheduling information or preferential placement due to travel situations. Typically, the event finishes up around 3:30pm on Sunday afternoon. This is a TENTATIVE outline schedlue.
