PARTNER STUNT COMPETITIONS

Basic Overview:

All Divisions have 60 seconds to perform their material. (there is no minimum time length)

All pairs/quads must provide music in CD format.

This is a partner STUNT competition, not a stunt "routine". You are NOT to "choreograph" the material nor include props.

Multiple pairs or quads may enter from any one school or club.

Collegiate and "Open" Divisions follow the PCA Collegiate rules/safety regulations for stunting/basket tosses etc.

Divisions

1. Combined Collegiate and Open All Girl Quads

2. Collegiate Co-ed - all partners are currently enrolled at the same university or college (min 1 course)

3. Open All-Star CO-ED - partners can come from any background or source and are 18yrs of age or older* | see PCA All-Star rules HERE |

Co-ed Pairs will be asked to provide their own spotter (coach, team mate etc) who will not assist in executing the skills. He is only there to spot and keep it safe.

Quad groups do not provide a 5th person. They are their own spotters.

NOTE to ALL COMPETITORS

This is a partner STUNT competition, not a "skit" or a "routine". Do NOT use props or theatrical elements in the presentation. Please just step up to bat and blast the good stuff.

The partner stunt competition is intended as a fun add-on to the standard competition format of the event. In keeping with this spirit, we sincerely encourage ALL competitors to please keep it in perspective when preparing for and eventually competing in the event. Please enjoy the spotlight, play the crowd and represent your team/school well.

This segment will be judged by 3 experienced coaches/judges/experts. Each judge will score 10 points for difficulty and 10 points for execution - total out of 20).

You will be judged fairly and seriously but the entire mood will be kept FUN and LIGHT. A good comparison to how we run our partner stunt competitions: have you ever seen the NBA Dunk Championships at the All-Star game? That's what it will be like. Please have fun.
