LETTERS TO THE EDITOR If you like the orchestra, support it yourself Recently the talk of the city bailing out Orchestra London has been quite upsetting to me. The people who like the orchestra should go and support it. If we are not a big enough city to support it, the taxpayers should not be expected to. I belong to the Forest City Maritimers. In the past 12 years we have donated almost $250,000 to charity. We are a heritage of music and way of life from Eastern Canada. We maintain a club and sometimes its hard to keep our heads above water. We never go to the city for a handout. They would just laugh at us. Orchestra London is no more important to the people who like it than the Maritime Club is to us.
