Council backs orchestra Orchestra London will get its $128,000 loan from the city while the group sorts out health-insurance woes. The orchestra learned of its troubles when an auditor came calling and ruled the non-profit group should have been paying employer health tax since 1995, a decision that has rattled other Ontario arts organizations. City council agreed to float the low-interest loan while the orchestra appeals the assessment.
