Canadian Musicians Employment Status Archive LONDON FREE PRESS Tuesday, April 18, 2000 LETTERS TO THE EDITOR
Millennium tribute concert a superlative performance The concert, A Tribute to the Millennium, raised nostalgia in many of us who attended this performance on April 2. It brought tears at times to reminisce while hearing the beautiful renditions of songs that meant so much. Orchestra London gave us a superlative performance conducted by the renowned Howard Cable. We must never lose this wonderful orchestra in London which has given us all great music over the years. To finish the program, a tribute performance of Auld Lang Syne to honour London's own Guy Lombardo was very moving. I urge everyone to support our orchestra.
