A friend approached me about doing a special mixer for his partners birthday. He told me how he always ogles the KitchenAids at department stores. We came up with the idea of redoing a 3C in candy apple red with polished aluminum accents. Happy Birthday Cary!
- Thanks John & Cary
Here is a Sunbeam Mixmaster Model 9 that was painted pink for a gentlemen in California. This colour was introduced by the Model 11. Australians had already seen an array of bold colours with the introduction of the Model 9 in the late 1940's.
- Thank you Bruce
Left and right is a Model 11 redone in black with white accents for my friend David T. To make the logo legible against the black background a white area was used to highlight the logo.
- Thanks Dave for all your support!
I was doing a custom Sunbeam Junior for a friend and mentioned the process to a customer. He liked the idea and asked me to do one for him. Here is the result...an anodized ultramarine blue finish!
- Great idea Tony! Thanks Gene
This Sunbeam Mixmaster 11 was redone for my friend David T. with a purple anodized finish. The metallic effect is especially evident in bright light. The Model 11 looks particularly regal in this rich purple.
