| Ten $1,500 bursaries will be offered
in 2005. The applicant must be a child or ward of a member of OSSTF in good
standing who has applied to enter a post-secondary college, university or
apprenticeship program (and later must attend that program). The applicant
must be attending a publicly-funded secondary school in the year the
application is made or must have been a student who graduated from a
publicly-funded secondary school in June of the previous year. He or she
must have a proven record of involvement/leadership in the school and in the
community, showing leadership and interest in the community, labour/union
and/or other social issues. |
