| Meet | monthly, usually, with a guest speaker who is knowledgeable about some aspect of city or county history. Meetings are held in the Grand Hall at the Woodstock Museum on the last wednesday of each month at 7:30 pm. There are no meetings in June, July, August and December.

| Preserve | important historical accounts by recording oral histories and interviews with knowledgeable Oxford County residents.

| Promote | the preservation and maintenance of historic private and municipal buildings.

| Develop | brochures for walking tours of Woodstock, and driving tours of Oxford.

| Maintain | an archival collection of material about Woodstock and Oxford history.

| Assist | students and visitors researching Woodstock/Oxford history.

| Publish | a quarterly newsletter.
