to play junior hockey in the BCJHL at the age of 15. I then played my
first year of major junior hockey in 1976-77 with Kamloops of the
Western Hockey League before playing my second and final year in the
WHL with Seattle.

Capitals selected me second overall in the 1978 Amateur Draft.

was named the Bud/Light NHL Man of the Year in 1991-92.

My
career stats include seven 20-goal seasons and I finished with 264
goals, 382 assists and 646 points in 1,003 regular season games. I
also had 16 goals and 51 points in 113 playoff contests.

won my first and only Stanley Cup with the Canadiens in 1985-86. |
