On stage at the Grunspan in Hamburg,
Germany. Next to this club is 36 Grosse Freiheit (Great
Liberty St.), the Kaiserkeller, where the Beatles played and across
the street, the notorious Star Club, site of many
afterparties. One block away is the Reeperbahn, the red light
district of Hamburg. A large statue of the Buddha sits in the
wall at the back of the stage. Our Roadrunner Records rep., Dominique,
showed us a very good time in Hamburg. Playing at the Grunspan was definitely a highlight
of that tour. We played 2 more return dates in Hamburg. |
