- When
planning a leg, the length of the leg should not be
less than three times the thickness of the material.
Legs shorter than that are difficult to form because
it's hard to get enough leverage to bend the leg up.
This also applies with hemming or bending a material
back on itself.

- If
a piercing pattern is used that requires the holes
in a specific area relative to the end of the part,
try to keep the holes more than ½", but
within 4" away from the end of the part.

the maximum bend radii permissible.
