Principles

chi is the basis of the universe

Schaomings convert their living chi to other forms of chi.

Types of Abilities of the Schaoming

Cyber-empaths

convert living chi to chi of electronic devices to control them.

Emotion wielders

convert livng chi to emotional chi
control and feel people's emotions, i.e. extreme anger, fear, sadness, happiness, etc.
the Dreaming is an area of the Astral plane used for training and accessed while they sleep
all Schaoming can visit the Dreaming.

Energy wielders

convert living chi to "physical energy" forms and vice versa
first to touch
second at a distance
third to fine control.

Healers

use living chi to heal body and mind
study acupuncture - chi arteries in living creatures - psychology, taoist healing, etc.

Magic wielders

convert living chi to creative chi (see table below) and vice versa
invoke spells in an internal manner see chi magic in Mystic China
may use sound to focus and transmit chi of magic.

Mech-empaths

convert living chi to chi of mechanical devices to control them
created chi generators - mechanical/electronic devices that converts mechanical/electrical energy to living chi.

use living chi to enhance their physical abilities and attributes including beauty
naturally happens to all who use chi but they specialize in it
codenamed the "guards of blood."

Mentechs

use living chi to increase their intelligence
gives them speedlearning, reading and calculating
can interface to the "Core" - an interface to the Motherstone
learn needed skills instantly from its memory banks
provide sensor blanket, through the Core, for combat teams to detect tech and people when on missions.

Necromancers

Necromancy is the transfering of the chi clone to a symbiod, an android body
gives the user twice the strength, speed and reflexes of human max with less training
if the symbiod dies, then the user is shocked unconscious, when his chi clone returns to his physical body

convert living chi to psychic energy and vice versa
at first the influence is touch and then distance
psionic abilities include:

- mind control (psychemasters)

Mentechs who specialize in ego attacks, brainwashing and thought control.

Warriors

study the art of war and martial arts with a code of honour in combat
they combine these arts with chi abilities
conflicts usually settled through kanli or duels.

Embrace the Tree

send your living chi through a tree and then back into yourself
the tree gives you chi for healing or your powers
you can do the same for the tree's "spirit"
the tree can tell you about the area's history.

Sexual yoga

a male and female circulate chi through each other by touching hands in meditation or sexual intercourse
results in a "boost" to their chi abilities that lasts for several hours depending on how compatible the life energies of the partners were
through longterm use, the couple develops much more quickly than each other individually
chi masters that can do this are rare and thus are valued greatly
disadvantage: it is very very addictive!

Why do Schaomings become immortal and then godlike?

as living beings Schaomings use "living chi"
each person has a natural affinity for another type of chi and thus their natural power
gradually they learn to convert living chi to other types of chi.

the Goal

to convert living chi to primordial chi
at that point they can do anything.

the Problem

it takes a longtime, i.e. several hundred years, to learn to wield enough types of chi to sense and use primordial chi
meanwhile, they can only use the powers that belong to a type of chi.

the Solution

develop life extension.

How?

through developing an energy body of chi
since chi is transmitted through the body eventually it strengthens the etheric body
since the etheric body coordinates cellular structure, a strong etheric Body is a strong physical body
since the etheric body is really the body of living chi, it becomes the foci for the use of their power
when this living chi body is strengthened, it can then survive a great deal of punishment and last for a longtime
therefore, immortality
Godhood further occurs when the living chi body can disassociate and associate matter around it at will.
