Welcome to the website of the London Fire Fighters Pipe Band. The site is currently being updated - please watch for more information in the near future.
The London Fire Fighters Pipe Band was originally formed in 1921 as the St. Thomas Legion Branch 41 Pipe Band. Since then, the band has performed and competed under several names, including the Chrysler Highlanders, MacNish Distillery Pipe Band, and St. Thomas Police Pipe Band. Since 2003 the band has been sponsored by the London Professional Fire Fighters Association.
Our organization currently includes three competitive bands - one each in Grade III, Grade IV, and Grade V - and the Piping & Drumming School, which offers free weekly lessons to anyone interested in learning to play the bagpipes or drums.
We are always looking for new members of any experience level, and encourage anyone interested to contact the band for further information.
