Condition - Gesch. 1470 as well as the Casige Eagle and 'Made in Germany British Zone'is stamped on the sewing plate. This is about as complete as you will find these machines. The cardboard box, the instructions (they are complete but are quite brittle and have some rips and tape), the table clamp and the factory quality control check slips are included. The original throw away cardboard pices on the spool pin are also still there as well as a small spool of thread. The machine is in very good shape but does have some marks to the left and back of the needle plate.
The base of this machine is a large one. It is 9.75w" x 5.5d" x 7.5"h. Glenda Thomas does not list a machine exactly like this one in her books. G.T. #1-62 seems to be similar but this one has a base that is just a hair bigger and the color is a metalic grey. The color is unlike any of the colors shown in the Glenda Thomas books.
