Hello hello! Sorry it's been so long since I've last updated. I've been very busy. Things to do, places to go, adventures to be had, etc. But here I am, writing up an update to my website. Does that excite you? It excites me!
First, lets start off with some content. Here's a little clip I found on the Internet. It's Barenaked Ladies, If I Had A Million Dollars set to a video made from The Sims 2. Here it is: Check it out. It's very well done!
Thursday I went to a taping of Royal Canadian Air Farce (RCAF) in Toronto. It was a really fun experience! We were suspose to go out for supper before hand but, we got stuck on the 401. I was on the 401 and about 5 minutes later, I was stopped and in a MASSIVE line of traffic. So, long story short, it took an hour and a half to get from the Hwy 2 turn-on to the Drumbo road turn-off. If you consult a map, it will show that the Drumbo turn-off is the very next one after the Hwy 2 turn-on. They had shut the 401 down due to an accident. I wish I had known. *grrr* Anyway, once we did get off the 401, we turned around and took the 403. Accident aside, from now on, I will ALWAYS take the 403 if I need to get to downtown Toronto. It was mega easy! I think it was quicker too!
Anyway, we made it in time to see our show and we had supper afterwards. Parking was easy to find but VERY expensive. There was a Queen concert at the Roger Centre (or Air Canada Centre, can't remember). Anway, the guy at the booth says "20 dolla". I'm like, "How much???", "20 dolla" *arg* I'll look for better parking lots next time!
The taping was awesome! It was so neat seeing how a real show is filmed. RCAF is filmed in a studio on the 10th (top) floor of the CBC building in Toronto. Unfortunatally there was no chicken cannon but the skits were funny. It's amazing how small the sets and stage are. On TV, you'd never guess the scene X was filmed right beside scene A. It was awesome.
In between scenes these 2 guys (one with a Chelo, the other, a Guitar) would play funny songs. If anyone knows where I can get an MP3 of the song "Racoons" please let me know, that song was great!!
Here's a picture of me in Kandahar:

Well, actually, that's me on the set of the Kandahar scene they shot on Thursday night. :o)
Afterwards we went to The Old Spaghetti Factory for supper. It was awesome! I defenately want to go there again! I had Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo and it was delicious! It came with a Ceasar salad, bread with garlic butter, and icecream for dessert. I've never had a better Ceasar salad in my life! It was awesome! Next time you are in Toronto, check this place out! More info at the link provided above! All in all, it was a great night!
In other news, I found a website that had a coupon for a free domain name with a product purchase. Well, it turns out that if you just applied the coupon to an empty order and proceded to check-out, you'd recieve your free domain. This trick has been found by the webmaster and corrected but not before I could take advantage of it. You may now access this website via: mr-skoo.com <--- Go ahead, click it! *lol* I've always wanted my own domain, now I've got one! Nice eh?
This update is brought to you by Ethan's New Computer! I have built a sweet machine, a sweet dual-core machine, to make my life easier. I have just under 600GB's of disk space. A big jump from a rough 30GB that spanned 3 hard drives. Maybe I'll provide more details on it later.
Well, this update is getting long enough. I'll try to post more often. Should be easier with my new beast all set up correctly. Wish me luck!
Hope everyone is having a good March and is excited for Spring this coming week! I love pretty flowers.
Oh, and thanks to everyone who DIDN'T vote Conservative. I know they are in power now but at least it's only a minority. Lets hope that this parliment will be just to give us a sample of their true colours (something that's already happening) and remind Canadians why they need to be reduced to 2 seats again (See 1993 election for more details)
Take care all! Keep warm!
